Have you noticed the "Zion Ministries" table in the narthex? Each month a different ministry of Zion is featured. Take some time during the month to learn about the ministry from the display, take home a handout explaining the purpose and responsibilities of the ministry, and prayerfully consider if God is calling you to be a part of that team. He has a place for you to serve in at least one ministry. Additional team members are needed for next year, but don't wait --- new team members are always welcome. A sign-up sheet is on the table, if you would like to respond (or you can contact a member of the Nominations and Lay Leadership Committee, or you can just call or e-mail the office, (724) 353-1720 or office@zionsarver.com.

Copies of Administrative Board, Council, and Trustees minutes are on the counter beside the office door. If you can't find them, just ask the office manager.
Newsletter articles are due the 15th of each month. We'll be assembling the next newsletter for mailing on Thursday, May 24, 9:00 a.m. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks to Ginger and Jean for their help this month, and for Lori's offer of help.
Permission to use the Zion facilities comes from the Trustees, who meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Submit all written requests to them in care of the church.

Zion has changed the system for distributing contribution envelopes. If you do not receive envelopes and want them, contact the office. If you receive envelopes but do not want them, notify the office. Let us know how you like the new system. You can pick them up in the narthex on the last Sunday of each month (saving us postage). Those not picked up will be mailed. Many thanks to the crew of volunteers that assembled this month's batch of envelopes!
