We believe that generosity is a characteristic of following Jesus and is evident throughout the Bible. At the beginning of the Bible, God gave Adam and Eve the responsibility to care for the world around them. Later, we see God providing Abraham with the resources he needed, and then Abraham gave a portion back to God, a ten percent portion. This pattern of God giving resources and the people of God giving back a portion of their resources, not out of obligation but out of gratitude. This pattern continues as Jesus highlights a widow who gave what she had to honor God. The Apostle Paul reminds the church in Corinth to provide resources to those who are hurting in Jerusalem.

We strive to be generous with our resources to support missions in our area and around the world. We give a tithe, a tenth, to missions helping in our community through food banks and around the world through partnerships in Haiti and Operation Christmas Child.
